The Justice Department has indicted nine suspects over their alleged involvement in an interstate gun smuggling operation that included weapons used in Blixky Gang music videos.

Georgia resident DuVaughn Wilson is accused of acting as a “straw buyer” to purchase around 87 guns on behalf of his co-defendants. The crimes allegedly took place between August 2020 and April 2021.

“Today’s arrests have ended the alleged pipeline of firearms for these nine defendants,” said Southern New York District Attorney Audrey Strauss. “These arrests should also send a message to anyone considering illegally selling guns to New Yorkers or illegally bringing guns to New York City: We and our law enforcement partners are watching. And we will prosecute firearms traffickers with all the force of the law.

The complete list of accused appearing in the charge shows, James Thomas (alias Spazz), Duvaughn Wilson (alias Dupree), Courtney Schloss (alias Bway / Balenci), Ken Alexander (alias Ryu), Argam Taj (alias Sour), Samuel Taj (alias Sosa), Christopher Machado (alias Chris Elite), Harlie Ramos (aka White Girl) and Jamel Thomas (aka Mel) have all been charged.

The indictment also cites the clip for “Word to Folk” as an example in which the guns can be seen.

Authorities say three suspects are still at large.
