Who can enter and what to expect from the competition?

According to ADE and Antler, startups with an original concept for a product or service related to the music and entertainment industry are encouraged to apply. Selected teams will be invited to a number of interviews following a selection process. After the interviews, the shortlisted teams will pitch to Antler’s Investment Committee (IC) and receive hands-on assistance from ADE and Antler to help them best prepare for the final pitches.

Finalist candidates will present their ideas live on stage during the final stage of the competition at ADE Pro in Amsterdam, where they will compete for the grand prize of an investment of (at least) €100,000, access to the global network of founders, investors and investors of Antler. industry experts, coaching from Antler management, and the opportunity to receive additional investments up to Series C.

The winners will largely be determined by four main factors: team, market, development and concept. The judges will consider the composition and background of the team before making their decision. In terms of market, it is essential that the concept or business focus on the music and entertainment industry, the size of the total addressable market, and the go-to-market approach.

Additional weight will be given to the team’s accomplishments to date versus the time invested in validating and growing their business. According to ADE and Antler, “A brilliant concept demonstrates excellent problem and solution articulation, competitive distinction, and technology application.”
