Chanel Terrero has released the clip for her Eurovision 2022 entry, “SloMo”! She will be the 61st representative of Spain in the Eurovision Song Contest in Turin in May.
Pure passion and power
If you watched Chanel’s live performance at Benidorm party In January, you can expect even more from its music video, as it truly blossoms on camera and captures the fun and fire we all know and love from “SloMo.” Take a look at the official clip below!
About the music video
After winning Benidorm Party, Chanel has been continuously preparing for Eurovision 2022 so that they can deliver a polished performance. Last weekend, RTVE announced that filming was underway for the “SloMo” music video.
The clip was directed by Pawla Casanovas, Catalan director and artist, self-taught in audiovisual. Pawla promised to present Chanel not only as a pop diva, but also as an empowered woman who is the protagonist of her own life. The music video includes everything you would expect – lots of dancing, visual effects and lighting.
Pawla had nothing but praise when talking about what it was like to work with Chanel, and what the creative process of shooting the video was like:
“She’s a born artist, every time we talk about her, the first hit is always good. It’s been amazing, I’m very tired, but everything went perfectly. We tried our best to make amazing work.“

In a behind-the-scenes video released by RTVE, Chanel explained how she felt about filming her first official music video.
“It’s crazy. Ever since I was a kid, I’ve loved music videos and I’ve always imagined myself in front of the screen and being the star behind that smoke, and the fan wind… and now it’s all come true .

It may be hard to believe, but “SloMo” is actually Chanel’s very first commercially released single. However, the big stage is nothing new for Chanel, as she has more than a decade of experience under her belt in dance, acting and singing. She has acted in various Spanish productions of Flashdance, Mamma Mia and The Lion King, and fun fact – she also appeared alongside Shakira herself at the 2010 MTV Europe Music Awards!
His participation in Eurovision this year is nothing less than symbolic and heartwarming. At the age of four, she was introduced to Eurovision Song Contest and has since never stopped dreaming of what it would be like to have the chance to replicate her childhood memories and aspirations. Dreams come true!
