Frank Ocean to head Coachella 2023
Frank Ocean will headline Coachella in 2023.
The 33-year-old singer – who hasn’t performed live since 2017 – was scheduled to perform at the 2020 edition of the festival with Rage Against the Machine and Travis Scott, but unfortunately the event was delayed due to COVID- 19 pandemic.
And while the world-famous musical extravagance returns in April 2022, Frank won’t be performing until 2023.
Coachella co-founder Paul Tollett told the LA Times: âRight now it’s the Wild West.
“I’m just trying to be as fair as possible to the artists and the fans to make sure they end up seeing everyone we’ve been talking about.”
The 2022 event, however, will see Rage Against the Machine and Travis occur, along with Megan Thee Stallion and Doja Cat.
Coachella had a huge refund request when the 2020 event was canceled due to COVID-19.
Paul said, âI joked that we did too good a job on the refunds.
âI understand you want your refund. You have your hotel, your plane ticket, all your stuff. The tickets are the smallest of all, in fact.
The Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival will once again welcome festival-goers to the desert at the Empire Polo Club in Indio on the weekends of April 15-17 and April 22-23, 2022.
