New Art on TAP maps with pilot portraits are now available
New limited-edition Art on TAP cards featuring artwork commissioned by Metro Art have launched at select stations this week – just in time for you to pick one up and take it for a ride on the Metro Art Bus !
The three new Art on TAP cards are Monday morning by Alepsis Hernandez, Playful transport by Cody Lusby and Modern Prometheus by Dave Van Patten.
As with last month’s release of Art on TAP Maps by Metro Art and Art on TAP’s inaugural series in 2019, the portraits evoke the intimate and universal stories of the users of our transit system. The rider portraits are also featured on the Metro Art Bus, on digital screens installed at Line A (blue) stations, and at the Union Station Passageway Art Gallery as part of the exhibit. We are… Portraits of metro users by local artists.
The new limited edition Art on TAP cards are now available from TAP vending machines at the stations listed below. Maps are only available at TVMs at this time – information on customer center locations will be announced shortly.
Be sure to check the header above TVM screens before purchase to see what cards are in stock. Not all stations have every design.
Cards are $2 plus the cost of the ride. Available while supplies last.
