THE TWO METALLICA 40TH ANNIVERSARY SHOWS BROUGHT LIVE FROM SAN FRANCISCO
The Coda Collection Presents Exclusive Global Live Streaming Event – Metallica 40th Anniversary Live – a special two-night event celebrating 40 years of Metallica.
Powered by streaming partners Amazon Music and Prime Video Channels, the exclusive free global live stream will feature the band’s full performances in the hometown on December 17-19 at the Chase Center in San Francisco.
While in-person tickets were available exclusively to members of the band’s fifth member fan club, Metallica fans around the world will now be able to watch both performances live from home or on mobile via Amazon Music’s Twitch channel. ‘Amazon Music and Prime Video (with or without a Prime on-demand viewing subscription) starting at 9 p.m. PT / 12 p.m. ET / 5 a.m. GMT / 2 p.m. JST each night. The shows will then be available exclusively on The Coda Collection / Prime Video Channel for later viewing.
Metallica fans will also be able to watch films presented as part of the SF Takeover Film Fest, including “Cunning Stunts” and “Orgullo, Pasión, y Gloria: Tres Noches en la Ciudad de México” at the Coda Collection / Prime Video Channel for the weekend.
The Live Stream + 40th Anniversary Movies is just the start, kicking off an expanded partnership between The Coda Collection and Metallica, which will include a comprehensive roster of concert films, documentaries and additional content spanning the band’s career and arriving on the channel exclusively throughout 2022, alongside popular musical films such as Foo Fighters, Jimi Hendrix, Grateful Dead and many more.
